You are an agent, of course.

We experience life as being able to influence its outcome. Regardless of whether we decide to do something or just the opposite, decide to do nothing, our decision will have an impact on our lives. Influencing our lives is at the core of the reality of being an agent.

The biological processing “hardware“ and the computer of sorts, with the totality of its life support and assets making it possible to act, this, obviously, is also the self, our selves. This also is a corner stone of who and what we are. This needs to be clearly stated because otherwise, the Informational Self just feels empty and inhuman. And it is not. The totality of ourselves as living individuals is central to, of course, what and who we are. Our understanding of ourselves needs to reflect this and not exclusively the informational and processing portion.
